Geschiedenis M29~M30 kanon

In November 1929 Finland bought eight prototypes and pre-series production units. The Northern countries classified the guns as 76 ItK/29 B and 76 ItK/28 B. The guns were used during the Winter War in conjunction with the British Vickers M34 Vc fire control system.
In 1938 Iran also bought six pieces of a total of 24 slightly improved versions of the Luftvärnskanon m/30-37, also known as m/37 cannons. The Persians were happy with the cannon, but the war prevented further orders.
Greece has also introduced the 8cm m/30 used to protect the Metaxas line
Between 1935 and 1938, the Royal Netherlands Army of the Netherlands Indies (KNIL) ordered a total of 52 slightly modified 8 cm m/36 L/50 versions. In the end, a total of 36 pieces were delivered, 12 of which were on a self-propelled vehicle while the rest were delivered with the conventional gun base. The guns were later used against the attacking Japanese, eight such guns were involved in the defense of Surabaya.
